Do you have experience of working on corporate accountability and/or tax justice and are passionate about creating change? Are you familiar with EU decision-making processes and EU influencing work? If yes, this role at ActionAid International is just the opportunity you need to make your mark and drive change. Join us as EU Corporate Accountability and Tax Justice Policy Officer.

 

As the Policy Officer you will help designing and implementing, in collaboration with ActionAid staff from affiliates and the Global Secretariat and under the responsibility of the EU Advocacy Advisor, ActionAid EU influencing work about corporate accountability and tax justice, including regulating finance. You will thereby contribute to ensuring EU policies in those fields contribute to human rights and sustainable development in the Global South. This will involve, gathering information on relevant EU policies and processes, connecting ActionAid Southern affiliates with EU processes as well as ensuring ActionAid is represented in relevant Brussels spaces.  You will also use opportunities to increase the visibility of our work on corporate accountability, tax justice and regulating finance, with EU institutions, the media and public. You will help track and communicate about the impacts of our work.

 

Ideally you will be an undergraduate and have previous experience of working on corporate accountability and/or tax justice, and previous exposure to EU influencing work.
